In some salons, you can find the same service combo brows, powder brows, hybrid brows, aquarelle lips,  offered in Face Figurati for a much lower price. But why is it NOT wise to rush signing up for cheaper options? Here, we will explain the pricing criteria of a reputable permanent makeup studio.

Eyebrow Tattooing is a delicate procedure. On average, the cost of eyebrow tattoos is about 600-1100 AUD. This amount includes everything from consumables used during treatment, like needles and special ink, to the cost of using permanent equipment.

The service price is determined traditionally: cost + margin. While you may think the margin all goes to the studio’s income, in our case, we still break the margin into various expenses. We need to allocate funds to pay for salaries, utility bills, rent, and advertising, to name a few.

When you avail of our services, we make sure to provide the following for free:

• For the client: A disposable cap you must wear before the procedure so that hair does not interfere with the work
• For the tattoo artist: A disposable cap (according to the same principle), sterile gloves, and a sterile face mask
• Special pigments
• Shoe covers
• A cling film that wraps the device
• Sterile needles
• Anaesthetics
• Dry and wet wipes
• Applicators like micro brush
• Disposable master respirator
• Pencil for sketching on the skin

We do not charge extra for the items listed above. In determining our service fee in Australia, we only follow standard pricing practices implemented worldwide.

The price for eyebrow tattoo would also vary depending on your tattoo artist’s expertise and the level of difficulty of the procedure techniques.

For example, many women notice that the price for microshading is less expensive than an eyebrow microblading price. The microblading technique costs a little more because it requires more detailed work from the artist, such as drawing fine lines or hair strokes to fill in the missing hairs in the eyebrows.

But you might still wonder why the price for the same permanent makeup service in Melbourne and Brisbane varies. You can find clinics offering eyebrow tattooing for 200 AUD, 400 AUD, or even 2000 AUD.

The price of cosmetic tattooing depends on the following:

2. Experience, background, and reputation of the tattoo specialist.

Eyebrow tattooing cost depends largely on the level and prestige of the salon. You can only find highly qualified artists — experienced and masters of their crafts — in reputable studios. Of course, experts will charge a premium for their services.

A salon that offers low eyebrow tattooing costs is only able to do that because of these reasons:
The artist probably uses low-quality dyes
They do not use certified cosmetic tattoo machines
