Lip tattoo course trainer
As a Lip Tattoo Course Trainer in Melbourne since 2016, I teach a clean, repeatable workflow for natural lip blush and neutralisation — no gimmicks, just solid technique. At Face Figurati, my small classes cover mapping and symmetry, undertone analysis, colour selection, needle choice, machine control, and depth for even saturation. You’ll practise on latex and live models under council-approved infection control, mastering consent, contraindications, and aftercare that supports true-to-tone healing. We also refine photography, pricing, and consultation scripts so you graduate clinic-ready with a polished portfolio. Expect honest feedback, step-by-step checklists, and ongoing mentorship — the confidence to create soft, seamless results on every lip.

Accreditation & Certification
In Australia, there is no unified national standard or legally mandated course required to work as a cosmetic tattooist or permanent makeup artist. However, completing professional training and obtaining infection control certifications is strongly recommended to ensure client safety and build a solid reputation in the industry.
Here’s a more detailed explanation:
No Mandatory Regulation:
Unlike some other beauty treatments, permanent makeup is not regulated at a national level in Australia. This means that technically, anyone can start offering these services after completing a short course.
Why Training Still Matters:
Even without strict legal requirements, proper education is essential:
Client Safety: Understanding hygiene, infection control, and safe techniques is crucial to minimize health risks.
Professionalism: Quality training provides the skills and knowledge needed to deliver consistent results and earn client trust.
Client Satisfaction: Well-trained artists can assess individual skin types, understand client expectations, and achieve desired outcomes.
Infection Control:
Although specific national accreditation isn’t required, most Australian states and territories mandate completion of an infection control course, such as HLTINF005.
